Coach Emund Prichett has been the Head Boys Basketball coach at Mansfield Summit High School in Arlington for six years. Last year the team finished with a record of 34-5, a District Championship and a trip to the State Semi-Finals. As the leader of the Jaguars, Coach Prichett, has had the honor of receiving multiple District Coach of the Year awards, Ft. Worth Star Telegram Coach of the Year and the TABC 5A Region 1 Coach of the Year award. Coach Prichett came to Mansfield Summit from Killeen Shoemaker where he compiled an overall record of 104-26 and a district record of 45 – 7. In his career, Coach Prichett has had the honor of coaching (7) All – Region Players (Shane Johnson, Torenzo Saunders, Channon Hall, Nick Shogbonyo, David Terrell, Richard Lemboye, Franck Emmou) and (4) All – State Player (Javon Levi, Nick Shogbonyo, David Terrell, Richard Lemboye). Coach Prichett, a military brat, was born in Chicago, Ill but grew up in Killeen, TX after his father’s many duty stops around the world. Coach Prichett is married to LaTasha (13) and they have two sons, Emund II (Deuce), and Lamundre. Coach Prichett played 2 seasons for Ronnie Hearne at Cisco Junior College before earning his Bachelor Degree from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. In 2011 he received his Masters in Higher Education from Walden University.
