Growing up in Central New Jersey, all I ever wanted to do was to play and watch sports. My first love was soccer but that didn’t stop me from exploring all kinds of different sports. Once upon a time, I was a three-sport athlete and played soccer, basketball, and baseball. Knowing how much I loved sports; I went to college at Towson University in Maryland to become a Physical Education Teacher. I knew that if I was a teacher, I could coach. After coaching many sports over a handful of seasons, I wound up becoming my middle school’s Athletic Director. As the Athletic Director I always had concerns over raising money and I never had a solution. I am so happy to now be able to work for Vertical Raise so that I can help my former colleagues by fundraising for their programs so they can grow and give more student athletes the opportunity to join a team or club.
