I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and I am the son of two sportswriters, so I have always loved Charlotte sports. I graduated from East Gaston in 2012, and as a 3-year letterman in baseball and 2-year letterman in basketball, I got the opportunity to play against some of the best competition in the state. I then went to Appalachian State where I was a manager for the basketball team and graduated with a bachelors degree in Communication Studies. When I graduated, the team hired me as Director of Player Development. While with the team, I got to travel across the country and around the world, which was an extraordinary experience.

After working for the team for 2 years, I was presented with a new opportunity with Vertical Raise. It is fulfilling daily to be able to help athletes, coaches and artists grow their programs by reaching their financial goals and I hope to be able to do that for many years to come.
