    About This Fundraiser

    This fundraiser is supporting our High School Orchestra Team Building Retreat.  This four day camp takes place in August before school starts.  Students play their instruments in large ensemble and sectional rehearsals as well as participate in team building activities.  It is a great chance for students to get back in playing shape prior to school starting, but more importantly, it gives the students an opportunity to lean how to work with each other as part of a team and create connections that will help them musically and socially throughout the school year.  Students that graduate from the BHS orchestra program who have partcipated in orchestra camp regularly site it as one of their favorite memories.

    The first $3000 we raise will allow us to cover the overhead costs of camp (transportation, costs of adult chaperones, and teaching staff) and not have to pass those costs on to the students.

    Every $200 raised after that essentially pays for a student to go to camp.  If we can raise $15,000, it would essentially be enough to pay for camp for all our students.
