    About This Fundraiser

    About the South Lake High School Soaring Eagles Chorus Program: Founded in 1993 and located West of Orlando in Groveland Florida, South Lake High School is one of eight public high schools in Lake County Florida. As part of South Lake High School’s Music Institute, the Soaring Eagles Chorus is made up of approximately 100 students currently in 9th through 12th grade. Students have the opportunity to sing in six different ensembles. Students participating in our program develop; collaborative, leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The Soaring Eagles Chorus annually performs at the Walt Disney World’s Candlelight Processional accompanied by a fifty-piece professional orchestra and celebrity narrator, on WKMG News 6 for Sounds of the Season, and at several community performances throughout Central Florida. The Soaring Eagles Chorus has twice performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. This fundraiser will aid us in purchasing equipment and materials to be used both for face to face and digital learning.
