Thank you for considering a donation to the Two Rivers Track and Field team. Fundraising is vital for the success of our track and field program and we have not held a fundraiser of this extent in a very long time. The funds raised will aid us in supporting nearly 200 student athletes from Two Rivers High School. We have seen a amazing increase in participation in our sport this season and look forward to growing the program forward. Track and field is a sport where all students belong regardless of their prior experience in sport. With 18 events between running, field and relays, there is an event to support the strength of all student athletes. We do not make cuts.
With the funds raised we will look to support the student athletes in a variety of ways: through equipment purchases, supporting team traditions as well as providing additional staffing (above and beyond what the school provides) as needed.
With the funds raised we will purchase practice/training equipment such as: practice hurdles, pole vault poles, indoor throwing implements, sand-pit covers, shot put cart, resistance bands, as well as provide additional coaching stipends to support our growing team as needed.
With the funds raised we will purchase equipment to help host high caliber home meets such as: a lap counter and bell, performance indicator for field event, etc
We will contribute to the purchase of a new high jump landing system, high jump standards, starting blocks, starting block cart, hurdles and a record board (in collaboration with the activities office).
We will also provide things like tshirts for athletes on a championship team, support track and field traditions like team tie dying, team banquet, and provide necessary equipment such as racing spikes or sports bras to athletes in need.
Each member of our track and field team has a monetary goal, please consider donating or sharing via social media so that they may reach it. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support. Please note that this is the only fundraising event of the season where student athletes ask for donations to the program. The team's other fundraising efforts this spring season will be: a Chipotle night (date TBD), concessions at all home meets, and two youth track and field summer camps where the student athletes and coaching staff donate their time to host youth in the community.
