Born and raised in Penn Hills. PA, I was the youngest of three boys, and developed a love for sports at a very young age. From age 5 on I played multiple sports, while in high school I focused on baseball and football. During my senior year I was voted captain of the football team and 1st team all-conference. After graduation I started my college career at CCAC and played baseball during my time there. I continued my education at Lackawanna Junior College majoring in Business and playing football for the Falcons. After college I married my amazing wife Julie and we started our family in Plum Borough, PA where we currently live with our 3 children Joel Jr, Jake and Jenna. I have been actively involved with my children’s sports organizations coaching their baseball, football, basketball and softball teams! I also volunteer as a Board Member on the Baseball and Football organizations. In addition to coaching my kids’ teams, I’ve also been an assistant defensive line coach for the Plum High School Varsity Football team. When I’m not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching the Steelers! As a parent, coach and board member I have first-hand the importance of fundraising and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help our fundraising partners efficiently meet and exceed their goals.
