Chris is excited to come back to the Triad area where he has had a rich history of success. During his High School days at High Point Central as a Swimmer, he was a Back-to-Back State Champion in his Junior and Senior year. His passion for winning stayed with him into his adult life where he had a desire to help others reach their goals from a sports standpoint. He has coached in Europe with USA Select trying to help American Basketball players land professional contracts overseas. He has also spent time in the NBA G League with Basketball Ops (Maine Red Claws). As an Assistant Coach at Westchester Country Day, he helped lead the 2012-13 team to an Undefeated season in the TAC. Chris' High School Coaching career came to a pause when he was awarded the opportunity to be an NBA Scout for the Orlando Magic. He enjoyed an 8 year scouting career with 11 teams throughout the League (Magic, Warriors, Jazz, 76ers, Pelicans, Nets, Hawks, Nuggets, Rockets, Bulls, Spurs). Chris is looking forward to helping younger athletes reach their goals through Fundraising. "I see this platform taking off in a way that it will give the players/coaches financial resources they would not have without the support of Vertical Raise. We are going to change the standard for what Coaches can do for their players."
