I was born and raised in Long Beach, CA and am blessed to still call it home. From an early age I developed a love for sports and have been able to turn that passion into a career in my hometown. As a product of the LBUSD, I attended Long Beach State University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Management and a master's degree in Sport Management. My career highlights include more than a decade in local journalism as a sportswriter, plus a five-year stint in the Long Beach State Athletic Department working in athletic communications. That experience allowed me to travel the world with various teams while working alongside some of the best coaches in the world. In my free time, I enjoy movies, concerts, musicals, a game night at home, or just spending quality time with friends with the game on. I'm excited to work with a cutting-edge organization like Vertical Raise, an industry leader in team fundraising. My goal is to support the Long Beach community and its coaches/teachers by helping them provide the best possible experience for their students.
