Born and raised in Chico, Ca. I developed a passion for sports at a young age, particularly basketball and tennis. This love of sports directed me to compete in high school and continue on to play basketball in college. I had the privilege of playing basketball all four years while completing my Bachelor’s degree from Simpson University in Redding, Ca, where I still reside. I have always enjoyed learning and strategizing which led me to my career path in teaching and coaching. After completing my education, I transitioned into the roles of wife, mother and coach. Together with my amazing husband, we have a fun, sports loving son who follows in our passion of sports and learning. Drawing from my own experiences as an athlete, I have dedicated myself to mentoring and guiding young athletes to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their goals both on and off the court. This is why I enjoy working with school programs and the community to help lighten the load of fundraising and give back.
