I was born and raised in Granite Bay, California. My father was a P.E. teacher and the head baseball coach at our local high school. Naturally, I grew up encompassed in sports. I played baseball, basketball, and football throughout my childhood, eventually earning a baseball scholarship to Oregon State University. After college, I was drafted by the Kansas City Royals. I held a 7-year professional baseball career with the Royals while coaching and providing lessons for kids in my off-seasons. Throughout my extensive athletic career I’ve learned to truly love sports and all its ebbs and flows. Vertical raise has given me a platform to help give back to the game by helping players and coaches maximize not only their budget but their time on the field as well.
