I have been married to my wife Jennifer for 24 years who currently teaches in the Louis Riel School Division in Winnipeg, MB and is a former ringette player. We have 3 girls who all played or are still playing sports; Camille (21) who is finishing her undergraduate degree with plans to go on to law school is a former hockey and club volleyball player who now coaches; Maeryn (19) who has completed 1 year towards her science degree with plans to pursue Actuarial Science is a former AAA hockey and High School Basketball player; and Senna (16) is entering grade 11 at college Beliveau in Winnipeg, MB and is a former hockey player and currently a club volleyball player. The sixth member of our family is Bauer, a 4 year old Cock-apoo-shon. <br><br> I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to play three years of Junior hockey, three years of college hockey and then three years of professional hockey. I have over 25 years of coaching experience in hockey at various levels including 20 years in women's collegiate hockey, and 5 years in men's hockey at various levels. I also have a solid background in media relations and communications, having worked in that area for five years. I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Recreation Management and Community Development degree. <br><br> I feel very blessed that Vertical Raise has allowed me the opportunity to join them, and I am really excited to have the opportunity to share my experience and energy in helping a wide variety of sports teams, arts groups and many others achieve their dreams through this amazing platform.
