I am excited to share the proprietary and industry-leading Vertical Raise platform with our local schools and community members! This platform and organization will allow me to cast a broad ‘fundraising net’ with your team/organization, so that we can generate the funds needed to have a successful season. I was born and raised in the Hickory, NC area and enjoyed a successful HS Athletics career in Football, Wrestling, and Track & Field at Bandys High School. I was a 4x conference champion wrestler at UNC Greensboro and wrestled in the World Cup in Iran, while competing in the Olympic styles of wrestling, post college. After graduating with a degree in Exercise & Sport Science, I transitioned to coaching at UNC Greensboro and Appalachian State University. I also spent time as an assistant coach at a couple of 501(c)3 non-profit wrestling clubs in NC. After my collegiate coaching career, I didn’t stray too far from the athletics world — and started designing and installing premium high school and collegiate weight rooms and fitness centers across the southeast. Now that I am back ‘home’ in Catawba County, I am looking forward to further developing my relationships with the coaches, administrators, and community leaders here in central NC.
