Freddie Gann Jr. is a dedicated retired veteran of the Alaska Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, with years of service rooted in discipline, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. After transitioning out of military service, Freddie channeled his passion for sports into the Alaska baseball and softball community. He formerly owned an indoor baseball and softball facility, where he provided aspiring athletes with a year-round environment to develop their skills. As the former head softball coach at East Anchorage High School, he emphasized the importance of hard work, resilience, and sportsmanship, leaving a lasting impact on the athletes he coached.

Freddie is the founder of the Alaska Vipers Fastpitch Club, a premier program dedicated to developing young softball players both on and off the field. Currently, he serves as the head coach for the Vipers’ 18U team and the assistant coach for the 12U team, guiding players to reach their full potential through personalized hitting, defensive, throwing, and catching instruction. With a deep passion for the game and a relentless drive to help athletes succeed, Freddie has become a respected figure in Alaska’s softball community, known for his expertise, encouragement, and unwavering support of his players’ growth.
