Born and raised in Florence, AL; I am the son of a bookkeeper and a musician... During high school, I played football, baseball, and basketball. I was all-region in basketball and threw a couple of no-hitters in baseball but, football was where I really excelled. I was an All-State Tight End who was selected to play in the Alabama vs Mississippi High School All-Star Game... After that, I attended Georgia Tech on a football scholarship. I was fortunate enough to play for some phenomenal coaches on some nationally-ranked teams.
After graduating from GT with a Management Degree, I dabbled in coaching. I was a Graduate Assistant at the University of Alabama under Nick Saban but, I finished my graduate degree at Middle Tennessee State University. I've coached at the high school level and I still enjoy mentoring kids. I'm very grateful that I'm still able to interact with student-athletes and their coaches. An added bonus is being able to help fine arts programs as well. I encourage students to be well rounded an explore all avenues of education. I'm very blessed to have found a profession that allows me to use my skills to better communities throughout Atlanta.
