I am a small town Texas girl to my core. Growing up in Daingerfield, home of the mighty Tigers, football is a way of life. Most Friday nights in the Fall were spent at a football game. In high school, I stayed very active with the golf team, the band, One-Act Play, being Student Council president and Drama Club president on top of working at our local BBQ joint. After graduating from Daingerfield High School, I attended Sam Houston State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. In college, I enjoyed acting in shows and working behind the scenes, as well. After graduation I met my husband, Nick, who was coaching football for the Paul Pewitt Brahmas. Shortly after we met, I became a teacher, and we were a package deal as we moved from one new coaching gig to the next. We’ve been married for 9 years now and have two beautiful children, Grainger and Georgia. In my free time I enjoy working out, sewing, playing with my kids, playing golf, playing guitar, gardening, and pretty much anything outside. A few summers ago I even built a chicken coop!
