I began my Military career in January 1996 with the U.S. Army Military Police Corps. I served both stateside and overseas assignments until 2001. I transitioned to the U.S. Army Reserves at Fort Bliss, Texas where I served in various leadership positions. I retired in 2020 with 24 1\2 years of service. In 2001, I joined the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy and served the El Paso area until 2020 when I retired. My awards and certificates include a Master Peace Office license, Certified Instructor, Certified Field Training Officer and am a recipient of the Governor’s Award for Educational excellence/Law Enforcement. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Education. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Jennifer, for 25 years and have 2 adult children, Julia and Curtis. I now look forward to helping clubs and schools raise funds! It’s time for a change and I am grateful for the opportunity Vertical Raise has awarded me.
