My name is Bassel Faltas, but you can simply call me "Coach." As your Vertical Raise representative and fundraising expert, my primary role is to support each organization's goals and serve our community.

I recently retired after 32 years of teaching and coaching in the California public school system. Additionally, I served as the West Regional Manager at USA Football, working directly with high school and youth football organizations, as well as various NFL initiatives and events. I am passionate about youth and high school athletics, as they have played a crucial role in my personal and professional development. The values instilled by sports and all educational extracurricular activities—whether it's band, debate, or the many clubs on campus—enrich the lives of our youth and, ultimately, our entire community. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, sport fishing, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports.
