Team New England Youth Academy Summer Enrichment Fundraiser 2024

Team New England is a Boston-based youth development organization.  Our mission is to change the generational trajectory of inner-city youth by providing an elite academic and athletic experience.  Each year we strive to award 10-20 kids admission into some of the most prestigious private schools in the region.  Using an elite year-round basketball program as the incentive, our student-athletes are encouraged to focus on their academics in order to take advantage of all that TNE has to offer.

We currently serve over 700 youth across six inner-cities of New England.  Our youth are provided experiences like: summer jobs, summer internship opportunities, year-round enrichment programming, summer leagues and academic scholarship opportunities.  We serve our communities in numerous ways as well: annual turkey drive, college fairs, prep school fairs, holiday giveaways (toy drives), city leagues and local event sponsors

Lastly, our newest initiative, Team New England Beyond Borders, has us providing the same opportunities for youth in Africa.  To date, we have nine kids ranging from 7th grade to 11th grade, from Nigeria spread across some of the best boarding schools in New England.  As of this year, we have already had two Nigerian kids leave our program and move onto full collegiate scholarships!
