We are excited to share some fantastic news: our beloved Clayton Turtle Hawks have qualified for the High School Girls National Championships! This incredible group of young athletes has worked tirelessly, displaying unparalleled dedication, teamwork, and spirit to reach this prestigious level of competition.
Who Are the Clayton Turtle Hawks?
The Clayton Turtle Hawks, a dynamic high school girls' sports team comprised of athletes from Clayton and North Raleigh, who have become known for their grit and determination on the field. Our team consists of 23 dedicated athletes, four inspiring coaches, and a supportive community that believes deeply in the power of sports to transform lives.
This year, the Turtle Hawks have outperformed expectations, winning against some of the toughest teams in our region. Their hard work has finally paid off with a well-deserved spot in the National Championships.
Why We Need Your Support
Participating in the National Championships involves travel, accommodation, equipment, and other unforeseen expenses. The total cost to ensure our team can compete without financial worry is $10,000. Unfortunately, our clubs budget cannot cover all these expenses, and we need your help to make our dream a reality.
How You Can Help
Every donation, no matter the size, brings our Turtle Hawks one step closer to the Nationals. Here’s how your contribution can make a difference:
$50 helps cover meals for one player for the duration of the tournament.
$100 contributes towards the cost of uniforms and gear.
$200 assists with travel expenses for the team.
Additionally, sharing our story on social media or within your community can also greatly amplify our efforts!
