    About This Fundraiser

    It is with tremendous pride we announce that the students of Reno High School’s We The People team qualified for the 36th Annual We the People National Finals on February 4th, our tenth time. These students now have the amazing opportunity to compete among the country’s best and brightest.  We are raising funds to send the 20 students, one teacher and 7 unit coaches and chaperones to the competition. 

    At a time when providing American history and civics education seems critical, both Reno High’s students and the We the People curriculum shine.  We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution is an instructional program based on the principles of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and National Finals serves as the culminating event for the We the People high school program. The program goal is to promote understanding of the principles and values on which our political institutions are based. Fundraising is vital for the success of our program. The funds will aid us in purchasing new uniforms, equipment and other pertinent expenses.
