SAND and Monterey County have made history, with the 16's team securing their second consecutive qualification for Nationals. The 16's team finished their regular season strong, ranking an impressive #5 in NCVA. The 16's team will compete in the Liberty Division at Nationals, having secured a bid in the Liberty Division at the Pacific Northwest Qualifiers in Spokane, Washington earlier this season. Boasting an impressive roster of standout players who excel in their respective high school teams, including Indira Aguila, Eve Buzoriute, Gina Da Silva, Dylan Domingos, Ava Edwards, Maya Giannini, Cadee Guzman, Sabrina Moore, Cindy Moreau,Charlee Riddle, Bella Storelli, and Juliette Souza, the 16's team embodies the collective talent and unwavering dedication synonymous with the Sand City Volleyball Club. The team is skillfully mentored by club co-founder and Head Volleyball Coach of MPC, Kit Moore, along with the guidance of Ella Prewitt, a former standout high school and college player from the area. The success of the team can only be achieved through partnership and collaboration between our club and the entire community. All of us gain when the children in our community flourish. All of us gain when our children feel joy and validation through hard work.
