    About This Fundraiser

    Thank you for helping this young woman get to Kenya! The funds you give will go directly into her Kenya 2020 expense account and reduce her individual fundraising goal of $4,000 to cover her trip. Please note: The trip expense for each participant is $3,275. The Vertical Raise fee is 20% of funds raised. Therefore making the fundraising goal of each young woman = $4,000. Although you see a lower goal on each participant's page, it will rise as she reaches the $4000 mark. Please know that every amount counts and is appreciated! W.E. NEXT is fostering a movement of young female leaders who are connected globally, while acting locally on the front lines of social change. In August 2020, these American female leaders (all under the age of 30) will join Kenyan female leaders (also under the age of 30) for a retreat focused on doing transformational work and finding solutions to social problems plaguing their communities. Founded by Dr. Deidre Anderson, The W.E. NEXT program provides training, mentoring, networking and annual destination retreats. Launched in 2019, this will be W.E. Next's Inaugural Destination Retreat.
